Philosophy

  

We are a family of people who believe that Jesus Christ is the only one who can provide the forgiveness, purpose, hope and peace that so many in our world are desperately searching for. We come together, young and old, from all walks of life to join in fellowship and worship of God - the Creator and Sustainer of all things who has revealed Himself to us through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. As a church family we believe that we have been called to be a people who :

  1. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God for all people in every time.

  2. We believe that God is the supreme Creator and Sustainer of the universe who has revealed Himself to us as a three in one Being - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

  4. We believe that all of us have sinned (that is, lived life our own way in rebellion towards God) and as a result are naturally cut off from God.

  5. We believe that God has made a way possible for us to be forgiven for our sins and for us to enter into a personal relationship with Him. This provision was the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ upon the cross, who took the punishment for our sins. This Jesus, God raised to life again so that we too may receive the gift of eternal life.

  6. We believe that as we repent (that is turn from our sins) and place our faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, that we are cleansed from all our sin and given the gift of eternal life, having been made right with God.
